Telmikind-H Tablet combines Telmisartan (angiotensin II receptor antagonist) with Hydrochlorothiazide (a thiazide diuretic or water tablet). Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker that relaxes and expands blood vessels (arteries). Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that inhibits the absorption of excess salt in the body, hence reducing fluid retention. Together, it decreases blood pressure and reduces the risk of stroke, heart attack, and oedema. Telmikind-H Tablet may be taken with meals or on an empty stomach. It should be consumed whole, with a glass of water. Your doctor will tell you how often you should take your medications depending on your medical condition. In certain situations, you may have dizziness, fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, back pain, and cold/flu symptoms. The majority of Telmikind-H Tablet side effects are minor and disappear on their own over time. However, if the adverse effects continue, contact your doctor. Use potassium supplements or salt alternatives only if your doctor has prescribed them. In rare situations, Telmikind-H Tablet might induce a skeletal muscle issue, which can progress to renal failure. If you detect inexplicable muscular pain, black urine, discomfort, or weakness, particularly if you have a fever or unusual weariness, call your doctor right once. If you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, stop taking Telmikind-H Tablet immediately and see your doctor. Aside from that, do not take Telmikind-H Tablet if you are unable to urinate. If you have diabetes, avoid using Telmikind-H Tablet with any prescription containing aliskiren (a blood pressure drug).
