Safety Advices

Pregnancy: Due to the paucity of proven research on cefotaxime in pregnant women, Taxim Injection should be used with care during pregnancy. Breastfeeding: Taxim Injection should be administered with care when nursing. Cefotaxime may enter into breast milk and damage a breastfeeding infant. As a result, it is best to avoid taking this injection during nursing. Alcohol: Please avoid drinking alcohol while using Taxim Injection since it may raise the risk of particular adverse effects including dizziness, sleepiness, and liver damage. Liver: Taxim Injection should be used with caution to individuals suffering from liver disorders. Because the liver largely removes cefotaxime, a loss in liver function might result in increased levels of the medication in the blood, increasing the probability of adverse effects, particularly those affecting the central nervous system. Please contact with your doctor before taking the injection. Kidney: The existing evidence on the use of Taxim Injection in patients with renal impairment is minimal. In such instances, it is recommended that you exercise care and seek counsel from your doctor. Using machines and driving: Taxim Injection may cause dizziness or disorientation. Do not drive or operate heavy equipment after taking this medication. Allergy: Patients who are allergic to cefotaxime or cephalosporin antibiotics should avoid this injection. Inform the doctor about your medical condition before this injection is administered to you. Children: Taxim injection is not recommended for children under the age of twelve. Consult your pediatrician for assistance on how to properly treat the illness. Older patients: Dosage changes may be required in older people depending on their age and renal function. However, they may be more susceptible to some adverse effects, especially those involving the central nervous system.
