Product Details

Rifaxigress 400 Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat hepatic encephalopathy, a condition where the liver is unable to remove toxins from the blood, potentially leading to brain dysfunction. It is also effective in managing infectious diarrhea by eliminating harmful bacteria in the intestines and preventing their growth. This medicine may be prescribed alone or along with other medications. It can be taken with or without food, but should be taken at the same time every day for maximum effectiveness. Use it exactly as prescribed by your doctor, and complete the full course—even if you start to feel better—to avoid the risk of the infection returning or becoming harder to treat. Common side effects may include vomiting, headache, dizziness, nausea, rash, joint pain, and low mood or depression. These symptoms are usually mild and temporary as your body adjusts to the medication. Let your doctor know if they persist or cause concern. You may also notice a reddish discoloration of urine, which is harmless and expected with this medication. Before starting Rifaxigress 400 Tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any liver, kidney, or heart conditions, or known allergies to this or any other medication.
