Description

Qutan 25 Tablet is used to treat schizophrenia (a mental condition that causes hallucinations or delusions and impairs a person's ability to think and conduct) and mania. It is also used to treat bipolar disorder. Qutan 25 Tablets can be taken with or without meals. However, it is recommended that you take it at the same time every day because this helps to keep a steady amount of medication in the body. Take this in the dosage and period prescribed by your doctor, and if you miss a dose, take it as soon as you recall. This drug should not be discontinued abruptly without seeing your doctor, since this may exacerbate your symptoms. However, if you get Neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS), which is characterized by fever, muscular stiffness, altered awareness, or seizures, cease this medication immediately.

Kidney Qutan 25 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Qutan 25 Tablet may not be needed in these patients.
