Direction For Use

Take this medication in the dosage and period prescribed by your doctor. Swallow it fully. Don't eat, crush, or break it. Metrogyl ER Tablet should be taken with meals.

Side Affects

Most side effects do not need medical treatment and go away as your body adapts to the medication. Consult your doctor if they persist if you are concerned about them. Common side effects of Metrogyl: Symptoms may include headache, dry mouth, nausea, and a metallic taste.

Safety Advices

Alcohol is unsafe. Drinking alcohol while taking Metrogyl ER Tablet may result in flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest discomfort, and low blood pressure (Disulfiram response). warnings Pregnancy Safe if prescribed. Metrogyl ER Tablet is usually regarded safe to use while pregnant. Animal research have shown little or no detrimental effects on the growing fetus; however, human studies are sparse. Breastfeeding with caution. Metrogyl ER Tablet should be taken with care when nursing. Breastfeeding should be stopped until the mother's therapy is complete and the medication has been cleared from her system. If a single dosage of Metrogyl ER Tablet is administered, it is suggested to discontinue nursing for 12-24 hours to enable the medication to be removed. Driving is unsafe. Metrogyl ER Tablet may have adverse effects that impair your ability to drive. Metrogyl ER Tablet may cause you to feel tired, dizzy, or disoriented. You may have hallucinations, fits (convulsions), or transient visual issues (such as blurry or double vision) that impair your ability to drive. Kidney is safe if prescribed. Metrogyl ER Tablet is safe to use in people with renal problems. No dosage modification is indicated for Metrogyl ER Tablet. Patients receiving renal dialysis should take this medication after their therapy. Liver: CAUTION Metrogyl ER Tablet should be taken with care in liver disease patients. A dose modification for Metrogyl ER Tablet may be required. Please visit a doctor.
