The most frequent negative effect of Glycomet Trio 1 Tablet SR is hypoglycemia (low blood glucose). Drinking alcohol may also raise your chance of developing low blood sugar levels and should be avoided. Other possible adverse effects of using this medication include taste changes, nausea, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, headache, edema (swelling), impaired vision, bone fracture, and upper respiratory tract infection. Some individuals may gain weight after using this medication. You should not use it if you have type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis (high blood acid levels), or severe renal or liver problems. If you have a history of heart problems, consult your doctor before using this medication. It may not be suited. Pregnant or nursing women should see their doctor before using it. Your blood sugar levels should be examined on a regular basis, and your doctor may recommend blood tests to monitor your blood cell count and liver function.
