Description
GASTRAZINE CAPSULE includes Dicyclomine, Oxethazine, and Simethicone, which are classified as antispasmodics, anaesthetics, and gastrointestinal agents (antifoaming agents), respectively. It is used in both children and adults to treat irritable bowel syndrome. Irritable bowel syndrome is a large intestine illness characterized by symptoms such as stomach discomfort, muscular soreness, excess gas, bloating, constipation, and loose motion. GASTRAZINE CAPSULE can also be used to treat heartburn and acidity. GASTRAZINE CAPSULE is not recommended for patients with myasthenia gravis (an autoimmune disease characterized by muscle weakness), glaucoma, intestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal tract obstruction, blocked urine output (obstructive uropathy), severe ulcerative colitis (inflammation and ulceration of the digestive tract), food from the stomach entering the oesophagus (reflux oesophagitis), unstable cardiovascular status due to blood loss, etc.

Before taking GASTRAZINE CAPSULE, tell your doctor if you have a fever, liver or kidney disease, an abnormal heart rate, increased thyroid hormones, an enlarged prostate, a digestive problem, or heartburn caused by a 'hiatus hernia'. Pregnant women should exercise caution when using GASTRAZINE CAPSULE, as directed by their doctor. GASTRAZINE CAPSULE is not suggested for use by nursing mothers or children under the age of six months. Direction For Use

Side Affects

Dry mouth with difficulty swallowing and talking, thirst, decreased bronchial secretions, dilated pupils, loss of accommodation (cycloplegia) and light sensitivity, flushing and dry skin, abnormal heart rate and difficulty urinating, constipation (symptoms of autonomic nervous system disturbances). Symptoms of central nervous system problems include confusion, disorientation, memory loss, hallucinations, poor muscular control, weakness, difficulty sleeping, agitation, psychosis, diminished awareness of surroundings, and coma. GASTRAZINE CAPSULE should be used with care in people with liver impairment (liver dysfunction). Before using GASTRAZINE CAPSULE, consult with your doctor. ALLERGY: Contraindicated. Do not use GASTRAZINE CAPSULE if you are allergic to dicyclomine, oxethazaine, simethicone, or any of the other components in this medication. Before using GASTRAZINE CAPSULE, consult with your doctor. HEART DISEASE. Consult your doctor. GASTRAZINE CAPSULE is not indicated for usage in people with cardiac conditions such as unstable cardiovascular state owing to blood loss. GASTRAZINE CAPSULE should be used with caution in patients who have an abnormal heart rate, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, ischemia (inadequate blood flow to the heart), high blood pressure, or who have undergone or are contemplating heart surgery. Before using GASTRAZINE CAPSULE, consult with your doctor. USE IN PEDIATRICS Contraindications: Gastrozine capsule should not be used in infants under 6 months old. Before using GASTRAZINE CAPSULE, consult with your doctor. USE IN GERIATRICS. Use With Caution. GASTRAZINE CAPSULE should be taken with caution in the elderly, since they are more likely to experience negative effects. Elderly persons are at risk of having impaired renal function.
