AZITHRAL MG TABLET is used to treat mild to moderately susceptible infections caused by bacteria and other microorganisms in the chest throat and nose such as bronchitis pneumonia tonsillitis sore throat and sinusitis In addition it is used to treat ear infections as well as skin and soft tissue diseases...sue diseases (such as an abscess or boil). It contains azithromycin, an antibiotic that works by limiting bacterial growth and aiding in the treatment of infections. AZITHRAL 250MG TABLET is not advised for patients who are allergic to azithromycin, other antibiotics such erythromycin/clarithromycin (macrolides), or ketolides. It is also not suggested for those who have a history of cholestatic jaundice or liver dysfunction. If you have diabetes, myasthenia gravis (a muscle weakness disorder), heart difficulties, or renal problems, see your doctor before taking AZITHRAL 250MG TABLET. AZITHRAL 250MG TABLET should be taken with caution during pregnancy and in women wanting to become pregnant, and only when plainly necessary. It is also advised to use with caution in breast-feeding mothers, as it is unknown whether the medication is excreted in breast milk. AZITHRAL 250MG TABLET is not suggested for usage by children weighing less than 45 kg.
