Augmentin Duo Oral Suspension treats the following problems in children: Infections of the ears, nose, and throat, including tonsillitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, and acute otitis media. respiratory tract infections, such as community-acquired pneumonia and acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis. Skin and soft tissue infections. Urinary tract infections. Dental Infections Tuberculosis that has proven resistant to other treatments

Direction For Use

Administer Augmentin Duo Oral Suspension to your child as directed below. Make careful to shake the bottle well before each use. Use a spoon or cup to measure the recommended quantity. Follow your doctor's instructions for how long your kid should take this medication. The bottle's package insert contains additional instructions. If you are unsure about any element of administering this medication, please see your child's doctor.

Side Affects

Augmentin Duo Oral Suspension may cause the following adverse effects in children: Diarrhoea Abdominal Pain Nausea and vomiting. Skin rash Mucocutaneous candidiasis (white patches in mouth) Managing Side Effects: The majority of adverse effects are transient and often harmless, and they go away when you stop using Augmentin Duo Oral Suspension. However, if you encounter any major side effects or if any of your symptoms worsen, immediately see your doctor. Below are some broad tips for addressing common side effects: Diarrhea: Try administering Augmentin Duo Oral Suspension to your child with food or milk. Nausea and vomiting: Giving this medication after meals may alleviate these effects.

This part is not applicable to pregnant women because the product is designed for children. This part does not include breastfeeding as it is a pediatric formulation. This part does not apply to the alcohol formulation used in pediatrics. Caution is suggested when administering Augmentin Duo Oral Suspension to children with mild to moderate hepatic impairment. If your kid has liver problems, discuss them with your doctor before beginning this medication. This drug may impair liver function. For children with a history of kidney issues, Augmentin Duo Oral Suspension should be used with caution. It is advisable to see your doctor before administering this medication.
