Description
Zincofer XT Tablet is a combination medicine of the 'hematinic' family that is primarily used to prevent and cure low levels of folic acid, zinc, and iron in the blood during various health situations (e.g., anaemia, pregnancy, a poor diet, surgical recovery). Anaemia is a health condition in which the body has less red blood cells or hemoglobin than normal haemoglobin. During pregnancy, the body requires extra zinc, iron, and folic acid, and a deficiency of these nutrients causes anemia in either the mother or the fetus.

Product Details
Zincofer XT Tablet has iron, zinc, and folic acid. These three chemicals are crucial for the body's ability to produce new blood cells. Iron is a mineral required by red blood cells to transport oxygen to other bodily cells and tissues. It works with haemoglobin to attract oxygen to the lungs. The body's immunological (defence) system need zinc to function properly. It promotes cell development, division, carbohydrate breakdown, wound healing, and correct iron metabolism. Folic acid is a vitamin B that helps the body produce more red blood cells and transport more oxygenated blood to various parts of the body. Zincofer XT Tablet comes in the shape of tablets that must be taken at the same time every day or as directed by a doctor. The most frequent Zincofer XT Tablet adverse effects include diarrhea, constipation, and upset stomach. These side effects are just transitory and will subside as the body responds to the medication. However, if the adverse effects continue, contact your doctor. If you have or have previously had stomach/intestinal issues (e.g., ulcers, colitis), alcohol use/abuse, or vitamin B12 deficiency (pernicious anaemia), please see your doctor before using Zincofer XT Tablet to avoid consequences. Also, list any of the other drugs you are taking that may alter how Zincofer XT Tablet works. Zincofer XT Tablet should be used during pregnancy only if prescribed by a doctor.
