Description
A combination of two medications called Dologel-CT Gel is used to treat mouth ulcers. It also alleviates ulcer-related discomfort, swelling, redness, and burning. Dologel-CT Gel should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor, at the recommended dose and duration. Apply it solely to the lips with clean hands. Do not use more than the suggested amount. Dologel-CT Gel consists of two medications: Choline Salicylate and Lidocaine. Choline salicylate is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication (NSAID). It acts by preventing the production of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that produce pain and inflammation (redness, swelling). Lidocaine is a local anesthetic. It works by inhibiting pain impulses from the nerves to the brain, reducing pain experience.
